Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
cake42 is a small software business in Los Angeles, California. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect on cake42.com and on calls with our AI receptionist, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Questions you type on the site. Your questions are used to answer you on the page. We may keep them to improve our answers.
- Contact details you choose to share. If you leave your name, email, phone number or a note, we use it to reply to you, send you what you asked for (like sample calls or a quote), or set up a demo.
- Calls to our demo line. Calls are answered by an AI receptionist. They may be recorded and transcribed so we can send you a summary and improve the service. The assistant tells you about this at the start of the call.
- Basic site statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't share it for advertising.
- We don't use tracking cookies.
Who helps us run the service
We use a few trusted providers to host the site, handle email and phone calls, and run AI models, for example Cloudflare and Google. They process information only so we can provide our service.
How long we keep it
We keep contact details and call records only as long as we need them to work with you, or until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you live in California, you have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We will not treat you differently for using them.
